As a Full-Time Pharmacist at Giant Food, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications while providing exceptional patient care in our retail pharmacy setting. You will collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians, store leadership, and healthcare providers to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while fostering a positive customer experience. Key tasks include interpreting and verifying prescriptions, preventing drug interactions, managing pharmacy workflow, resolving insurance issues, and maintaining precise records. Additionally, you will engage in patient education, medication therapy management, and support vaccination and clinical service programs.
