The Rental Service Agent plays a pivotal role in our operations, serving as both:
- Customer Experience Champion for rentals
- Sales Specialist for RV demos and conversions
This position is essential for ensuring that every customer departs with satisfaction, whether starting their rental adventure or purchasing their future RV.
THE ROLE
The Rental Service Agent manages all customer-facing rental operations and conducts professional RV sales demonstrations to convert leads into buyers. This hands-on, customer-focused role blends service, product presentation, operational execution, and follow-up sales management. Across rentals and sales, this role guarantees that every vehicle, interaction, and customer moment aligns with Indie Campers’ high expectations.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Customer Service & Operations: Oversee check-ins/check-outs, provide briefings, and ongoing rental support. Address service recovery and emergencies with empathy.
- Sales Demonstrations & Customer Engagement: Prepare and execute RV demos, highlighting features, specifications, and customer-specific needs. Ensure seamless handovers and proper documentation.
- Sales Conversion & Lead Management: Monitor leads, demos, and follow-ups through our CRM. Transform rental customers into sales opportunities, supporting the RV Sales District and City Lead in achieving targets.
- Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Keep informed about Indie Campers RV models and perform basic system demonstrations (lighting, gas, etc.). Diagnose and escalate issues when necessary.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Must have: 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, rental, or automotive settings.
- Must have: Exceptional communication and customer engagement abilities.
- Must have: Capability to comprehend and articulate technical RV/vehicle systems.
