Position Overview:
As a Full-Time Sales Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our store management team with daily operations. Your responsibilities will include providing outstanding customer service, driving sales, merchandising products, and executing additional tasks as directed by management. We expect you to perform all duties with professionalism, courtesy, reliability, and a results-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and identifying customer needs to assist them in selecting the right products.
- Showcase a strong understanding of fashion trends and ensure customers find merchandise that aligns with their preferences while maintaining DTLR’s high standards.
- Help with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing activities.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward your role and the company.
- Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in service training and product knowledge programs.
- Assist the Store Manager in monitoring losses and inconsistencies to meet company shrink goals.
- Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and business standards.
- Support the training of fellow employees in sales techniques and merchandising.
- Actively prevent inventory shrinkage by following loss prevention policies and ensuring store security.
- Execute proper point of sale procedures and assist in investigating discrepancies with management.
- Keep management updated on significant developments and challenges.
- Maintain an organized and clean sales environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Commit to a standard work week of 35 to 40 hours.
