Key ResponsibilitiesOperate vehicles in accordance with all applicable state and federal transportation regulations.Safely and timely transport loads along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.Skillfully maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading zones, following crew signals.Assist in loading and unloading goods and materials, utilizing specialized equipment when necessary; return all equipment to designated areas.Maintain accurate records of invoices, shipping documents, and other required paperwork, delivering them to the shipping office or relevant personnel upon completion of routes.Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, including oil, water, gasoline, and air; report any malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.Optimize trailer arrangement in shipping yards for efficient loading.Execute other related duties as assigned.
