Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all state and federal transportation regulations while operating vehicles.Safely transport loads along designated routes, obeying traffic laws and safety protocols.Skillfully navigate trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas, coordinating with loading crew signals.Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and materials, utilizing specialized equipment as necessary.Maintain accurate documentation, including signed invoices and shipping bills, delivering paperwork to the appropriate personnel upon completion of delivery.Perform routine vehicle service checks, reporting any maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor.Organize trailers in shipping yards for efficient loading patterns.Execute other related duties as assigned.Required Skills and QualificationsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate courteously with customers and team members.Ability to maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment.Possession of a valid commercial driver's license or chauffeur's license, appropriate for the vehicle weight.Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings as mandated by federal regulations.
