Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate vehicles following all applicable state and federal transportation regulations.Transport loads safely and promptly along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.Skillfully maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading zones, responding to loading crew signals.Assist with or independently load and unload goods and materials, utilizing specialized equipment as necessary; ensure empty skids are returned to their designated areas.Maintain accurate records including signed invoices and shipping documents, delivering them to the appropriate personnel upon completion of delivery routes.Conduct routine maintenance checks on trucks, including oil, water, and fuel levels; report any mechanical issues to the Shipping Supervisor.Organize trailers in shipping yards to optimize loading patterns.Perform any additional related duties as required.
