Key ResponsibilitiesAdhere to safe job practices while repairing equipment.Proficiently use technology (laptops and tablets).Conduct maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for various rental and customer equipment, exercising a high degree of independent judgment.Assist in training junior technicians as needed.Maintain thorough and timely documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.Support with the pickup and delivery of equipment and parts.Knowledge of OSHA requirements is preferred.Field Mechanics: When necessary, travel to customer job sites for equipment repair/maintenance; maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training.Complete other duties as assigned.Skills & QualificationsMust possess tools relevant to the position.Demonstrated advanced mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.High School diploma, Trade school certification, or equivalent.
