In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts, working with some of the latest models in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to safe practices during equipment repairs.
- Utilize technology such as laptops and tablets proficiently.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for various rental and customer equipment, exercising independent judgment.
- Assist in training junior technicians as needed.
- Document work performed through accurate and timely completion of paperwork and electronic records (work orders).
- Facilitate the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
- Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements (preferred).
- Field Mechanics: Travel to customer job sites for equipment repair/maintenance as required, keeping service vehicles clean and professional.
- Participate in year-round OEM training provided by the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Possession of necessary tools for the position.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
- In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and proficiency in reading schematics and diagrams.
- Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- High School diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred.
