General Manager – BrandsGalaxy
About the Role
We seek a proactive and dynamic General Manager to oversee and enhance the daily operations of BrandsGalaxy while driving its overall performance. This role demands a strategic leader who can ensure cohesive execution across commercial, marketing, operations, and technology domains. The ideal candidate will engage closely with a nimble, cross-functional team and will be directly responsible for achieving business outcomes.
The position is perfect for someone with substantial e-commerce experience who thrives in a fast-paced, campaign-driven environment, adept at balancing strategic planning with execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations and performance metrics of BrandsGalaxy.
- Lead and align the execution of sales campaigns across commercial, marketing, operations, and creative teams.
- Ensure optimal readiness in merchandising, pricing strategies, inventory management, marketing execution, and platform performance.
- Track and analyze commercial KPIs (revenue, conversion rates, customer engagement) and implement actionable insights.
- Coordinate with functional leads to set priorities and foster effective collaboration.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for operational and platform-related challenges, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Collaborate closely with product teams, technology partners, and external stakeholders to maintain platform stability and drive continuous enhancements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce and operations, preferably in senior leadership roles.
- Proven hands-on experience in e-commerce or digital retail environments.
- Solid understanding of campaign-driven sales models, merchandising strategies, and online performance metrics.
- Ability to operate effectively in a hands-on role, close to daily execution and decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage priorities across multiple functions within a lean, high-accountability team environment.
- Data-driven mindset with the capacity to track KPIs and leverage insights for informed decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills and a pragmatic leadership style.
