POSITION SUMMARY
The General Manager at Driving Academy, also known as the School Director, plays a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of our Wayne, NJ branch. This position is essential for driving sales and operational excellence while fostering a culture of teamwork and personal development. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Lead the hiring, training, and performance management of team members.
- Oversee scheduling and workflow for branch staff.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
- Communicate new policies or procedures to the management team and the entire operations staff during significant changes.
- Implement strategies to align branch performance with organizational goals.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and compliant with necessary registrations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary.
- Maintain budget adherence for business operations, supplies, and services.
- Enhance customer service through policy improvements.
- Project a positive organizational image to employees and the community.
- Manage vendor contracts and licenses.
- Participate in regular meetings with regional leadership.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Facilitate inter-departmental collaboration for improved workflow.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively across branch departments.
- Ensure all departments meet their performance goals to drive sales and profits.
- Handle employee discipline and terminations in accordance with company policies.
