Are you a dedicated and skilled Generator Technician eager to advance your career in the fast-paced Telecom industry? At Pearce, we are looking for individuals who can service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in your area. This role is ideally suited for independent self-starters willing to travel and take on challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain generators, diagnose and repair issues, install and replace components or entire systems, and conduct additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment.
- Perform performance checks and routine maintenance on generators to ensure optimal readiness, interpreting blueprints or design specifications for installations and repairs.
- Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components, testing for proper operation.
- Promptly respond to power/generator alarms; availability for 24/7 on-call duties and timely communication via phone and email.
- Execute work with full awareness of potential hazards associated with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment, utilizing safety equipment and practices; participate in all designated safety training meetings.
