Your Role:
Are you a dedicated and skilled Generator Technician eager to advance your career in a dynamic and challenging environment within the Telecom industry? If so, Pearce Services has the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing commercial generators located on cell phone towers in your area. This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who are willing to travel and take initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance on generators, diagnose and repair issues, install and replace components or entire systems, and perform seasonal maintenance or upgrades.
- Perform performance checks and regular maintenance to ensure optimal generator readiness, interpret blueprints or design specifications for installations or repairs.
- Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and controls, and test for proper functionality.
- Respond promptly to power/generator alarms and be available for 24/7 on-call duties as necessary, ensuring timely communication via phone and email.
- Work safely by being aware of potential hazards associated with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment, including electric shock and falls; adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions.
