We are seeking an experienced Global Events Lead to take charge of and expand our global events portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the strategy and execution of hundreds of events each year, encompassing community-led initiatives, third-party sponsorships, and flagship events like Waves, our annual conference.
This leadership position involves managing a team of event planners, fostering robust cross-functional collaborations with the GTM and marketing teams, and translating Make's overarching business strategy into impactful event plans that yield measurable results. You will oversee event finances, meticulously managing budgets, tracking ROI and pipeline contributions, and identifying new revenue opportunities.
The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate events with lifecycle marketing strategies. Every activation, whether a local meetup or a significant brand moment, should align with our objectives for awareness, adoption, expansion, and customer loyalty. You possess a keen eye for creative direction and production quality, ensuring that Make's events deliver outstanding experiences that resonate with our brand identity. You are comfortable setting long-term visions while being hands-on during peak execution periods.
