Job Summary
We are looking for a Compliance Manager to architect, implement, and expand security and compliance frameworks across our global lab environments. This pivotal role will concentrate on safeguarding sensitive hardware, enforcing access controls, and ensuring that our engineering data and infrastructure adhere to compliance requirements.
Your contributions will significantly influence the secure development of AI hardware by establishing robust processes related to lab zoning, asset tracking, and network segmentation while collaborating with engineering teams across multiple locations.
The Team
You will join a cross-functional security and infrastructure team that supports Graphcore’s international engineering centers, including the new AI Engineering Campus in Austin. The team closely collaborates with hardware engineers, IT, and security stakeholders to integrate compliance controls into lab environments and operational processes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and enforce physical access controls, including lab zoning and restricted areas
- Ensure the secure storage of sensitive hardware within lab environments
- Implement network segmentation and manage permissions across diverse infrastructure environments
- Oversee hardware asset monitoring, inventory management, and chain-of-custody protocols
- Assist in secure lab setups and infrastructure deployment initiatives
- Establish and scale compliance controls across global engineering laboratories
- Collaborate with engineering departments to ensure secure handling of engineering data through approved systems
- Enhance and supervise adherence to internal security policies and external compliance standards
- Contribute to the development of secure infrastructure practices within AI and hardware environments
