As the Global Market Strategy Leader at NielsenIQ, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading our Commercial Strategy and Flagship Clients initiatives. In this senior commercial leadership position, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing high-potential global clients within our Marketing Effectiveness portfolio. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Marketing Effectiveness, you will craft and implement a strategic approach to acquire and nurture flagship accounts that are integral to our global programs. This role demands outstanding relationship-building capabilities, proficiency in presenting to C-suite executives, and the ability to articulate our value proposition at industry events. Frequent global travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Pipeline Leadership:
- Identify and target high-value global clients across diverse industries such as CPG, Auto, Retail, Travel, QSR, and Financial Services.
- Develop a systematic lead-generation strategy for flagship client acquisition.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies by providing insights for teasers, sales collateral, and messaging.
- Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions with prospective clients to reveal their needs and competitive gaps.
- Pursue winbacks, oversee renewal cycles, and keep track of RFP calendars.
- Lead sales pitches and manage strategic RFP responses exceeding $3 million.
Client Engagement & Executive Communication:
- Engage confidently with C-suite stakeholders to clearly communicate NielsenIQ's value.
- Represent NielsenIQ Marketing Effectiveness at industry events, conferences, and client forums.
- Foster strong relationships with senior decision-makers and industry leaders to create new opportunities.
- Collaborate with NielsenIQ Next and other consulting teams for cohesive representation in crucial meetings.
Market, Competitive & Product Alignment:
- Collect and analyze competitive intelligence to refine our unique selling propositions.
- Identify essential market segments and communicate enhancement needs to product teams.
- Work closely with Product, Modeling COE, and Customer Success to ensure alignment with market demands.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance solution differentiation and commercial readiness.
Revenue Ownership & Deal Progression:
- Take ownership of revenue for flagship client acquisition and meet aggressive revenue targets.
- Guide all large deal pursuits to ensure successful transitions into long-term engagements.
- Collaborate with regional commercial teams to operationalize growth post-sale.
- Ensure a smooth transition from early-stage acquisition to account management.
