About the Role
The Global Master Data Manager will oversee the governance, accuracy, and continuous enhancement of product master data across all regions and business units. This critical role ensures that product information is standardized, trustworthy, and aligned with our global business processes. You will directly manage a team of four, providing leadership, guidance, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and uphold global standards for Product Master Data
- Monitor data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across Product Data Management (PDM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Initiate and drive improvements in data quality
- Lead ongoing enhancement initiatives
- Mentor and develop a talented team of data analysts
- Assign tasks, prioritize projects, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives
- Promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture
- Serve as an advisor on all product master data matters within the organization
- Translate business requirements into actionable data solutions
- Support system upgrades and integration projects
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis on data issues, designing solutions to mitigate them
- Facilitate the flow of pricing and product data to other teams and systems, understanding the downstream impact of changes in master data
- Create ad-hoc reports on pricing and product master data
- Develop and deliver training and support for stakeholders on data management best practices.
