Join Our Team as a Global Payroll Operations Lead
Wargaming is looking for a seasoned and meticulous Global Payroll Operations Lead to spearhead our payroll operations across multiple countries, including Poland, Cyprus, Lithuania, Serbia, and the Czech Republic. This pivotal role demands extensive hands-on experience in managing international payrolls, ensuring adherence to local and international regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in steering payroll governance, managing vendor relationships, overseeing audit and reporting processes, and collaborating effectively with HR Operations, Finance, and external partners.
Your Key Responsibilities
Payroll Governance & Compliance
- Develop and enhance payroll governance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
- Guarantee compliance with local, national, and international tax and labor regulations across all payroll operations.
- Establish robust approval workflows, segregation of duties, and maintain comprehensive audit trails.
- Act as the final payroll approver for all payroll cycles across global regions.
Operational Excellence & Standardization
- Design, implement, and sustain standardized payroll processes across diverse countries.
- Conduct monthly payroll reconciliations and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure the precise and timely processing of statutory payments including taxes, pensions, and social contributions.
Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary liaison for global payroll vendors.
- Select and oversee payroll providers to ensure optimal service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.
Audit & Reporting
- Lead internal and external payroll audits, overseeing preparation and responses.
- Deliver timely and accurate payroll reports for financial, compliance, and statutory purposes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to support audit readiness.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices.
