Who We Are
We are a dedicated team of advocacy and legislative professionals striving to effect change through rulemaking, community engagement, and coalition building, all aimed at advancing our policy goals. Our small yet impactful team consists of creative problem-solvers committed to enhancing transportation equity via strategic government relations.
Monitor, analyze, and track legislative and regulatory activities in assigned markets to identify potential business risks and opportunities.
Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with policymakers, agency personnel, legislative aides, and external advocates.
Compose influential position papers, testimonies, comments, and internal policy documentation.
Assist in coordinating external lobbyists and advocacy consultants in designated jurisdictions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Operations, to convert policy changes into actionable business strategies.
Represent HopSkipDrive at stakeholder meetings, coalition gatherings, and public forums.
Contribute to internal reports on legislative developments, hearing schedules, and advocacy progress.
