As the Grants Manager at Mission Graduates, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission through institutional fundraising. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, you will spearhead efforts to secure and expand a diverse portfolio of funding from foundations, corporations, and government sources, targeting an impressive annual revenue goal of over $2 million with plans for future growth.
This position is both relationship-oriented and execution-driven, allowing you to provide valuable strategic insights. You will manage existing donor relationships while actively identifying and nurturing new funding prospects. Your expertise will be essential in crafting high-quality proposals and comprehensive reports that effectively showcase Mission Graduates’ impact to our current and potential funders, including foundations, corporations, and public agencies such as the City of San Francisco.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, strong organizational abilities, and a knack for translating program outcomes into compelling funding proposals. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at collaborating across teams in a dynamic, mission-focused environment with a firm commitment to educational equity.
This role will involve close collaboration with the Chief Development Officer, CEO, program staff, development team, and finance department to ensure alignment between funding strategies and organizational priorities, as well as to maintain robust stewardship of all institutional partners.
