About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Lifecycle Growth Manager who possesses in-depth knowledge of email, notifications, and lifecycle growth strategies. In this role, you will spearhead the design and execution of innovative campaigns across ChatGPT’s user journeys, supported by analytical rigor and high-tempo experimentation. Our team thrives on rapid testing, precise metrics, and creative solutions, with user value always at the forefront of our initiatives.
As the owner of the lifecycle growth programs, you will oversee every aspect—from strategic planning and creative execution to deployment, measurement, and iterative improvement. This highly collaborative role involves working closely with teams across engineering, product, data science, and design to enhance user engagement, retention, and monetization through effective growth strategies.
This position is based in either San Francisco, CA or New York, NY, and follows a hybrid work model of three days in the office per week. We also provide relocation assistance for new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize global lifecycle initiatives (email, push notifications, in-app messaging) aimed at boosting activation, engagement, and retention for both B2C and B2B segments.
- Develop a comprehensive messaging strategy, including audience segmentation, personalized journeys, channel selection, and timing to maximize conversion and long-term user value.
- Create testing roadmaps for lifecycle campaigns, employing A/B and multivariate experiments to enhance open rates, click-through rates, and other critical metrics such as paid conversions, DAU/WAU impacts, and LTV.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve messaging infrastructure (event triggers, experimentation tools, data pipelines) to support sophisticated targeting and automation.
- Construct and maintain performance dashboards to analyze funnel metrics, identify opportunities, and inform prioritization.
- Team up with creative and design professionals to produce engaging content and visuals that align with ChatGPT’s brand and value proposition while driving user action.
