Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the marketing strategy for Premium+ subscriptions across AccuWeather’s app and web platforms, including partner go-to-market strategies (offers, messaging, lifecycle flows).
Oversee app marketing initiatives beyond subscriptions, such as user engagement programs, app rating and review enhancement, and experimentation to optimize app health and quality signals.
Serve as the primary marketing leader for subscription and upgrade experiences, collaborating closely with the Product team.
Work in partnership with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Consumer Revenue teams to ensure alignment on product roadmaps, offers, messaging, and upgrade experiences.
Enhance conversion optimization strategies across in-app, web, and lifecycle touchpoints, including upgrade modals, notifications, landing pages, and purchase flows.
Design and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns involving in-app messaging, push notifications, and email marketing to transition users from free tiers to trials and finally to paid subscribers.
Strategically plan and execute seasonal marketing initiatives and campaigns.

This pivotal role focuses on the go-to-market strategies and continuous growth initiatives for AccuWeather’s consumer subscription services across both app and web platforms. As a key marketing partner to our Product and Consumer Revenue teams, you will drive subscription acquisition, conversion, user engagement, and lifecycle performance specifically for our Premium+ service, while also spearheading broader app marketing strategies aimed at boosting engagement and improving app quality indicators.
This hands-on position is essential for fostering subscription revenue growth and optimizing overall app performance, including metrics such as conversion rates, retention, Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), and user engagement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in both app and web marketing, lifecycle program development, experimentation, and cross-departmental collaboration, all while maintaining a focus on continuous optimization and delivering value to our customers.
