As a Guest Experience and Ticket Operations Representative (GE&T Rep), reporting directly to the Supervisor of Guest Experience & Ticket Operations, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding service at the Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL). Your responsibilities will include warmly welcoming guests, assisting with their ticketing inquiries, scanning tickets, guiding visitors, managing coat check operations, and ensuring that all venue policies are adhered to in a courteous and professional manner.
In this role, you will create a welcoming atmosphere, prioritize guest safety, and address multiple concerns with professionalism and compassion. REAL provides comprehensive training to equip all GE&T Reps with in-depth knowledge of ticketing processes and venue details, covering everything from event schedules to food and beverage locations, Box Office details, suite holder entrances, parking, security, and first aid. It is essential to escalate concerns appropriately and report issues effectively.
Your commitment to exceptional customer service will involve:
- Mastering ticket reading and understanding the layout of REAL's ticketed venues.
- Greet and monitor guest movement within assigned areas to ensure safety and compliance with policy.
- Anticipate guest needs; proactively find ways to enhance their experience.
- Assist patrons with wayfinding, ticket relocations, upgrades, and inquiries, ensuring all questions are addressed.
- Take ownership of guest issues and follow through until resolution.
- Monitor accessible seating to ensure guest areas are respected.
- Remain visible and available to assist event attendees.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned work areas and equipment for optimal first impressions.
- Collaborate closely with Security, First Aid, and Event Supervisors to provide swift service.
- Respond to all issues in your area and seek additional help when necessary.
Additionally, you will gain a thorough understanding of event and venue procedures:
- Learn and follow all Guest Experience and Ticket Operations protocols relevant to each event.
- Support ticket and product sales, guiding guests through purchasing decisions and recommending options to meet their needs.
