As a Store Manager at H&M, you will take charge of delivering an exceptional omni-channel experience within your store. You'll ensure that visual merchandising and commercial standards align with both local strategies and global guidelines. Your leadership will inspire the entire store team to achieve excellence, fostering an inclusive culture that nurtures collaboration and entrepreneurship. You will also analyze sales metrics to create actionable plans that enhance performance and profitability.
A Day in the Life
Your role will involve a variety of tasks, including:
- Overseeing the omni-channel customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial standards are met.
- Representing the H&M brand positively in all customer interactions.
- Setting, analyzing, and monitoring sales and budget goals, and developing strategies to improve outcomes.
- Encouraging your team to provide outstanding customer service and actively promote products.
- Driving awareness of our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and sustainability initiatives.
- Managing staff schedules in accordance with budgeted hours and sales expectations.
- Ensuring efficient routines in fitting room and checkout areas.
- Identifying commercial opportunities and maintaining competitor awareness.
- Managing store maintenance effectively and efficiently.
- Ensuring all administrative tasks related to people and operations are completed accurately.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Stay informed about fashion trends, styles, competitors, and influencers to guide your team and provide excellent customer service.
Team Development
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing talent and performance, including recruiting, onboarding, and upskilling team members.
- Conducting performance evaluations and succession planning.
- Sharing your knowledge and skills to foster team growth.
- Promoting a collaborative environment.
