About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Hardware Finance Manager specializing in Consolidations & Systems to take charge of our consolidated financial reporting, forecasting processes, and financial systems within our hardware divisions, including Io and Robotics. This pivotal role coordinates between Hardware Finance, central FP&A, Accounting, and Finance Systems, ensuring that leadership has access to a precise, unified, and timely financial perspective of our hardware operations.
As the owner of the financial backbone for hardware, you will be responsible for comprehensive P&L reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and the systems and processes that deliver scalable, decision-ready insights. Your work will ensure the financials for hardware are consistent, auditable, and suitable for executive and board-level decisions as we continue to grow in complexity and capital requirements.
We strongly prefer candidates who can join us at our headquarters in San Francisco. Our hybrid work model allows for 3 days in the office each week, and we offer relocation assistance for new hires.

- Oversee end-to-end consolidated financial reporting for all hardware divisions (Io and Robotics), providing an integrated P&L overview across R&D, Product, COGS, and OpEx.
- Establish and facilitate the financial operating cadence for hardware, including monthly closes, forecasting, reforecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring accountability and uniformity across teams.
- Act as a principal finance partner to Hardware Finance leaders, central FP&A, and Accounting, harmonizing plans from the ground up with actuals and enterprise reporting standards.
- Develop and maintain consolidated forecasting and reporting models that integrate inputs from Product Finance, COGS / Supply Chain, and R&D into a cohesive, driver-based financial perspective.
- Design, implement, and manage hardware financial systems, tools, and processes aimed at standardization, automation, and scalability while minimizing manual effort and reconciliation risks.
- Manage the hardware chart of accounts and financial structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
