We are looking for a
Head of Hospitality
(32 – 36 hours per week)
The hospitality sector within NEMO is continually evolving, playing an increasingly vital role in enhancing the overall visitor experience. As the Head of Hospitality, you will steer this development, creating a sustainable hospitality framework that is welcoming, efficient, and financially sound, while remaining closely aligned with NEMO's mission.
In this role, you will craft and implement a clear vision for hospitality in a complex museum environment characterized by high visitor traffic, peak periods, events, and evening programming. You will translate strategic ambitions into practical operations, ensuring that execution is robust.
You will lead the hospitality managers and team, becoming an integral part of NEMO's management team. Reporting to the Business Director, you will collaborate closely with departments such as Public, Program, Events, and Facilities.
Combining entrepreneurial spirit with organizational sensitivity, you will connect commercial, operational, and societal objectives.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and implementing a hospitality vision that aligns with NEMO's identity and ambitions, building a distinctive and future-proof hospitality experience.
- Creating a sustainable, circular, and healthy food and beverage offering suitable for a public and societal museum environment.
- Ensuring that the hospitality offerings are thematically connected to science, technology, and society, making them an integral part of the NEMO experience.
- Developing and optimizing offerings that cater to diverse visitor groups, including students with limited spending power, families, individual visitors, and event groups.
- Maintaining a financially healthy hospitality organization while focusing on quality, efficiency, and guest experience.
- Implementing innovative approaches that enhance the overall visitor experience.
