As we continue to expand our serial production capabilities, we are on the lookout for a Head of Serial Production (m/f/d) to join our team in Gilching, near Munich. This role demands a strategic leader who can ensure our production processes are not only fast but also dependable and scalable.
Your key responsibilities will encompass taking full ownership of the operations, from developing and executing the Serial Production Roadmap to enhancing shop floor excellence. You'll ensure our standards, processes, and risk management practices are consistently enforced.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategic Governance: Cultivate a high-performing serial production team to keep pace with our growth. Continuously adapt the Serial Production Roadmap in line with product strategies and establish effective governance structures and performance metrics.
Quality Assurance & Timely Deliveries: Oversee all aspects of output, quality, and on-time delivery, ensuring the manufacturing and assembly of complex UAS meet our high standards throughout the production cycle.
Shopfloor Management: Manage daily operations, addressing bottlenecks proactively and implementing effective capacity planning in collaboration with the Director of Production.
Operational Excellence: Drive ongoing improvements in production processes, focusing on stability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness by establishing robust routines and standards.
KPI Management: Own and monitor operational production KPIs while implementing initiatives for continuous improvement and ensuring transparency in performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Supply Chain, Quality Management, and Industrialization to ensure seamless production workflows.
Standards Enforcement: Implement and enforce rigorous production standards and risk management practices across all operations.
