Join our team as a Hoist Operator / Forklift Driver for the night shift, where your expertise will contribute to our production and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will:
- Understand and implement safety and quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Execute slitting and converting orders efficiently on the slitter machine.
- Collaborate with Material Handlers to achieve departmental and plant objectives.
- Minimize waste and optimize stock usage by performing salvage operations as needed.
- Make necessary adjustments on the slitter to meet product specifications.
- Prepare for production by ensuring all materials are ready for current and upcoming shifts.
- Maintain accountability for the quality and quantity of slitted products.
- Document production and inventory data accurately in the PWMS system.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Department to ensure equipment is operational and report any issues.
- Emphasize teamwork and contribute positively to the team environment.
- Assist in training new and existing team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
