Job Overview
We are currently on the lookout for a reliable and dedicated Houseman to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our hotel’s public spaces, providing vital support to housekeeping, and assisting with guest services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to our company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Public Area Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and organization of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms; clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and mirrors; vacuum and mop floors; empty trash cans and ashtrays.
- Housekeeping Support: Assist housekeeping staff by removing trash and linen, moving furniture and supplies, and cleaning guest rooms when necessary.
- Guest Services: Provide support to front desk agents with guest requests, assist with inquiries, and offer general assistance as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and reach.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
