POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Hourly Shift Coordinator (HSC) serves as the Shift Leader at Popeyes, dedicated to driving sales and profit results through effective management of profitability, guest satisfaction, team engagement, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Manager (AM), the HSC is instrumental in overseeing the restaurant's operations during assigned shifts, focusing on achieving performance metrics related to sales, profitability, guest service, and staff development. The HSC plays a pivotal role in leading a team of Team Members during shifts.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROFITABILITY
- Adheres to all cash control and security protocols, including safe counting and cash drawer management.
- Conducts daily and weekly inventory inspections to maintain stock levels.
- Oversees the receipt of inventory deliveries.
GUEST EXPERIENCE
- Inspires and directs Team Members to surpass guest expectations through prompt, friendly, and attentive service in a clean environment.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Provides constructive feedback and coaching to Team Members to enhance team capabilities and overall restaurant performance.
OPERATIONS
- Sets a positive example for Team Members by diligently implementing shift plans and driving operational success.
- Ensures the accurate and efficient preparation and sale of products, adhering to established service speed guidelines.
- Motivates Team Members across all workstations during the shift.
- Analyzes restaurant performance metrics to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensures compliance with operational and brand standards.
- Assumes the responsibilities of Team Members as needed.
