Reports To: Executive Housekeeper
General Purpose: The Housekeeping Lobby Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas as per established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and prepare cleaning carts and supplies for daily use, ensuring storerooms remain tidy and orderly.
Regularly clean and sanitize windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures throughout guest rooms and public spaces.
Utilize ladders or stools as necessary to access hard-to-reach areas.
Thoroughly clean shower walls, tubs, toilets, and mirrors, ensuring all bathroom fixtures are spotless.
Replace towels, soaps, and room amenities, while restocking any literature removed or soiled by previous guests.
Wash and maintain all hard floor surfaces by hand to eliminate dirt and stains.
Dust and polish all furniture, fixtures, and wall decor, ensuring a pristine environment.
Strip beds of used linen and remake with fresh linens, checking for cleanliness of bedspreads and blankets.
Inspect closets for cleanliness, restocking supplies such as hangers, extra blankets, and pillows.
Vacuum guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, moving heavy furniture to ensure thorough cleaning.
Check all door and window locks for functionality, reporting any security issues to management.
Inspect room equipment (TVs, lights, faucets) for proper operation and report deficiencies.
Safeguard all equipment, keys, and supplies, maintaining the integrity of hotel property.
Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor to guests and staff at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Clean patio and balcony areas as required.
