About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated People Business Partner who will collaborate closely with our Go-To-Market (GTM) leaders in JAPAC, aligning talent strategies with business goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by leveraging your expertise in organizational design, talent management, and leadership coaching, all while upholding Miro’s cultural values. Alongside your PBP responsibilities, you will assist our global People Operations, Employee Relations, and legal teams with region-specific tasks to ensure compliance and smooth operations. This role will report directly to the Head of GTM Organizational Success & People Partners.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing support to executives and employees within your purview.
- Implement global and local People programs and processes, including talent management, organizational planning, performance management, development planning, compensation planning, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Deliver insights to business leaders by analyzing performance trends, employee engagement metrics, and turnover rates.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including People team Centers of Excellence (COEs), cross-functional partners, and fellow Business Partners to create world-class initiatives.
- Coach and guide managers in building exceptional teams.
- Lead and manage GTM-wide people projects.
- Empower leaders to make data-driven decisions.
- Act as a liaison to the Employee Relations Team for regional investigations and terminations.
- Serve as an expert in JAPAC labor law, helping to define and implement necessary local processes and policies while training teammates on compliance topics.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across Australia, Japan, and Singapore, including handling compliance reporting, government filings, and regular audits in collaboration with the legal team.
- Work with the Tokyo workplace team to maintain compliance with relevant physical and regulatory standards.
