The HR Manager serves as a strategic advisor and reliable partner to senior leadership within our distribution center. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead intricate, organization-wide HR initiatives, craft and execute cross-site people strategies, and champion data-driven enhancements that elevate organizational performance. You will lead and nurture a dedicated on-site People team, establishing clear priorities, offering coaching and professional mentorship, and ensuring the consistent provision of exceptional HR support. This encompasses overseeing daily HR operations, including employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, absence management, and adherence to employment legislation and company policies. By balancing strategic influence with operational excellence, you will cultivate a high-performance, legally compliant, and employee-centric culture, while enhancing the capabilities of the People team and empowering leaders to effectively manage their teams.
This position is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of People Business Partners and Specialists, providing direction and development to ensure KPI and SLA compliance.
- Advise and support site leadership in executing comprehensive HR strategies in alignment with the company vision.
- Model the company's core values and ensure adherence by the team.
- Address daily inquiries from colleagues, collaborating with support functions as necessary.
- Translate site and departmental strategies into actionable HR initiatives, including execution support and impact assessment.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation and digitalization in HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, collaborating with HelloFresh on all health and safety matters while maintaining your own health, safety, and welfare.
- Engage in problem-solving activities and escalate issues to the Head of People Operations when needed.
- Coach and partner with senior leaders focusing on productivity, leadership, and team culture.
- Lead strategic HR projects such as compensation cycles, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
- Analyze and prepare workforce data to inform actions that enhance productivity, retention, and engagement.
