We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Human Resources Advisor to join our dynamic HR team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is based onsite at our operational depot in Corby, where you will play a crucial part in supporting our iForce operations.
As a key member of the HR department and reporting directly to the HR Business Partner, you will ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective operational service across all business areas by providing essential first-line advice and guidance to people managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive HR support, ensuring equitable application of HR policies and procedures.
- Offer first-line advice, guidance, and coaching to line managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, escalating complex or high-risk cases to the HRBP when necessary.
- Coordinate, attend, and assist with Employee Relations meetings as needed.
- Oversee the completion of people-related changes, including modifications to Terms and Conditions and Approval to Recruit processes.
- Compile and present data as requested, utilizing insights to propose and implement initiatives.
- Champion group-wide HR processes, collaborating with Central Functions on job evaluations and grading.
- Maintain the HR System to ensure timely and accurate employee information management.
- Partner with Learning and Development and line managers to identify and provide necessary training and development opportunities.
- Continuously review and enhance people-related processes to support ongoing improvement.
- Work closely with occupational health on long-term sickness and management referrals, including conducting home visits when necessary.
- Support and contribute to broader HR projects as directed by HRBP/Head of HR.
- Administer HR systems and processes as required.
- Generate HR Information Reports weekly and monthly for the HRBP/Head of HR.
- Assist the HRBP in managing day-to-day Employee Relations cases, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Provide support for site initiatives, including engagement activities and survey feedback.
- Assist in executing HR projects such as restructuring, new builds, closures, and TUPE.
