Summary
The Human Resources Generalist II will manage and execute the daily operations of the Human Resource department. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including conducting interviews, overseeing training programs, managing payroll, administering benefits, and ensuring adherence to company policies and practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the recruitment process as needed, facilitating a smooth hiring experience.
Design and lead new employee orientation programs that cultivate a positive attitude towards achieving company objectives.
Prepare documentation for employee separations, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.
Evaluate and identify training needs to enhance employee performance and development.
Plan, conduct, and document effective training sessions, maintaining an updated training matrix and curriculum database.
Collaborate with managers to communicate and implement training initiatives.
Assist with weekly payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Represent the organization in personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Create corporate-wide communications as required to enhance employee engagement.
Recommend improvements in human resource practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Contribute to the Affirmative Action Plan and comply with government reporting requirements.
Participate in the morale and outreach committee to promote a positive workplace culture.
Coordinate the end-of-year review process in collaboration with other HR team members.
Conduct performance reviews at 30, 60, and 90 days with both employees and managers.
Support employee relations events to foster community within the organization.
Carry out routine tasks necessary for administering human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary actions, dispute resolutions, performance management, occupational health and safety, and employee development.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, regularly reviewing policies and practices for alignment.
Stay informed on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in the fields of human resources and employment law.
Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain an efficient and effective work environment.
Ensure all activities comply with Atec's International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies, reporting any deviations to the appropriate manager or supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the manager, ensuring compliance with Atec's policies and applicable laws.
Monitor personnel activities to ensure adherence to Atec's ISO policies, correcting and reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor.
Assist in the hiring process, including interviewing, hiring, and orienting new employees.
