Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Human Resources Recruiter (Generalist) to join our team at PPHP in Elmsford, New York. This pivotal role involves executing HR-related functions at a professional level, primarily focusing on healthcare recruitment and retention efforts. You will play a crucial part in addressing vacancies within patient services, collaborating closely with the Manager of Talent Acquisition and Affiliate Programs. Your contributions will extend to supporting various recruitment initiatives and enhancing overall HR functions, including payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all job vacancies have approved personnel requisitions before commencing recruitment activities. Maintain a detailed log of requisitions.
- Update and maintain the list of current job openings on PPHP’s website and create promotional materials for internal postings.
- Research job opportunities and craft compelling copy for job board listings and other media platforms. Assess applications and resumes to ensure alignment with job requirements.
- Conduct recruitment activities, including screening and initial interviews for entry-level, technical, and professional positions. Schedule follow-up interviews with hiring managers.
- Execute background checks in compliance with PPHP policies.
- Upon candidate selection, oversee salary negotiations, extend job offers, and prepare necessary documentation. Coordinate onboarding processes and ensure all personnel files are complete.
- Facilitate New Employee Training (NET) on a rotational basis as determined by HR.
- Proactively source candidates through diverse channels such as job boards, community outreach, vocational schools, and recruitment events, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
- Assist with internal employee transfers and support workforce development initiatives.
- Depending on operational needs, provide additional support across various HR functions to contribute to the department's success.
- Serve as a primary resource for ADP Workforce Now HRIS functions, handling data entry, employee lifecycle transactions, and benefits administration.
