PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Human Resources Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily HR operations within the assigned plant. This position collaborates closely with plant leadership to execute HR policies, programs, and initiatives that align with organizational goals and compliance standards. Responsibilities include providing insights on employee relations, staffing, performance management, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations. The HR Supervisor reports directly to the Senior Human Resources Manager and is tasked with managing employee relations, addressing employee inquiries, and supporting HR Shared Services, benefits administration, onboarding, and compliance.
Please note: This role requires in-office attendance. Only candidates located in the Jacksonville, FL area will be considered.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee daily HR operations at the plant, ensuring consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to enhance workforce planning, employee engagement, and talent development strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including performance management and conflict resolution.
- Administer HR programs like onboarding, training, employee recognition, and exit processes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records and HRIS data.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
