Qualifications
SalaryStarting pay ranges from $35.00 to $50.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus an additional $4.93 for fringe benefits applicable towards insurance and 401k!Key Responsibilities Service air-cooled chillers, pumps, water systems, and VRF systems Conduct testing on automated building control systems, including voltage checks on sensors and activators Work with various unit types, including split package, residential, light commercial, mini-splits, VAVs, and AHUs Utilize multi-meters for voltage checks Perform brazing tasks Prepare work orders and estimate material costs Train and evaluate the performance of assigned technicians Essential Skills Ability to work independently and be a self-starter Proficient in reading schematic diagrams Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle with troubleshooting capabilities Advanced mechanical knowledge of various HVAC units Ability to perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision Identify and utilize necessary software for maintenance and repairs Commitment to workplace safety, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
