Role Overview: The Import and Supply Logistics Executive will support the comprehensive processes of supply logistics and importation, including placing orders with business partners, processing through SAP, booking shipments, coordinating necessary import documentation, reviewing freight quotations from forwarders, receiving shipment notices, reporting estimated arrival times, and expediting customs clearance in compliance with company and Joint Venture partner requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurately update order and shipment details/status through effective collaboration with functional departments and regional supply chain teams; identify risks and opportunities as necessary.
- Ensure the efficiency of the Company's import processes while adhering to all government regulations and safeguarding all import-related documents.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Pharmacists to ensure all new launches and innovations are registered with the FDA before ordering and receiving stock in the Philippines.
- Coordinate with clearing agents, forwarders, internal stakeholders (Lux and JV Demand Planners), and principals to manage cargo shipping arrangements, customs clearance, and timely deliveries to the warehouse.
- Verify the accuracy of shipping documents and ensure completeness.
