Qualifications
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.Experience:Minimum of 3+ years of demonstrable experience in an incident management capacity is required.Proven experience in leading or coordinating major incidents in complex, fast-paced environments.Experience in designing, improving, or scaling operational processes is highly desirable.Ideal Candidate Attributes:Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT.Ability to design and implement operational processes effectively.Excellent managerial skills and a collaborative approach to working with teams across various organizations.Proficiency in ITSM service desk solutions, preferably Freshservice or similar platforms.

This is a rare opportunity to develop and enhance the incident management function from inception. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operationalizing incident management processes, standards, and governance while collaborating closely with infrastructure, application, security, and business teams. Beyond managing real-time incidents, you will establish best practices, define severity models, enhance communication workflows, and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the incident lifecycle.
This is a full-time remote role based in the U.S., preferably within the Eastern Time Zone. The target compensation package ranges from $100,000 to $110,000, subject to internal equity and years of experience. Adjustments to the compensation range may be made through an approval process based on business needs and market trends.
