Required Qualifications:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).Associate Degree in Electrical Technologies (or equivalent) or completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program.Advanced electrical knowledge and skills, with the ability to program and install current or future electrical devices used within the plant.Professional and respectful interaction with personnel at all levels.Ability to adhere to work directives and safety procedures.Ability to read policies and procedures—most of which are in English—and communicate moderately in English.Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, or related environment.Strong background in troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing electrical systems.

As an Industrial Maintenance Electrical Technician at McWane Ductile, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems while troubleshooting and repairing equipment. You will ensure that all wiring and components adhere to safety codes. Utilizing blueprints, hand tools, and testing devices, you will help maintain smooth and safe operations. Note that environmental training may be required.
Compensation: $28.08 to $31.08 per hour
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using appropriate test equipment and tools.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
- Inspect electrical systems and continuity of circuits, ensuring compatibility and safety using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
- Plan layouts and installations of electrical wiring and equipment based on job specifications and local codes.
- Follow blueprints to accurately determine the location of wiring and equipment.
- Complete all required environmental training related to this position.
