Key Responsibilities:
• Assess non-emergency work requests, create detailed scopes of work, and evaluate job sites to define requirements.
• Estimate required labor hours, skillsets, parts, materials, equipment, and tools to complete proactive maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Collect necessary technical documentation including drawings, schematics, specifications, and parts lists from equipment histories and OEM manuals. Confirm parts availability before scheduling jobs and arrange for special tools as needed.
• Maintain an organized and prioritized backlog of work orders to identify high-priority tasks and ensure the Ready Backlog is at or above 80%.
• Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of Job Plans.
• Conduct weekly planning and scheduling meetings with the Production team to set work order priorities, communicate statuses, and adjust planned maintenance activities as required.
• Develop a Weekly Technician Schedule that maximizes technician labor hours through prioritized planned jobs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Enhance work order planning and scheduling efficiency using maintenance metrics and review processes.
• Maintain essential records and files for effective analysis and reporting of maintenance activities.
• Train site personnel on CMMS, ensuring its integrity and proper utilization.
