Experience:3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong focus on electrical troubleshooting.Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Electrical Skills:Proficient in troubleshooting 480V electrical systems.Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.Experience with motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.PLC Experience:Experience in troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment is essential.PLC programming skills are NOT required.Safety:Familiarity with Arc Flash safety guidelines and Lockout/Tagout protocols.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent is required.Technical training in electrical or industrial maintenance is preferred.

At Avery Dennison, we are looking for a dedicated electrical maintenance technician to perform troubleshooting and repairs on 480V electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled machinery in our manufacturing facility.
This position emphasizes electrical troubleshooting and repairs. If you are a hands-on problem solver who delves into the root causes of machine failures, this role is essential to the smooth operation of our facility. We seek a technician who goes beyond simply replacing parts, utilizing their diagnostic skills to ensure long-term equipment reliability.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Expert Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures using meters, detailed schematics, and prints.
Electrical Mastery: Maintain and repair high-voltage systems (480V), motors, switches, and automated controls.
PLC Diagnostic: Utilize your PLC experience to troubleshoot issues and restore production (programming knowledge not required; familiarity with ladder logic is a plus).
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct planned and predictive maintenance on conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and manufacturing machinery.
Safe Operations: Execute complex wiring and repairs while adhering to Arc Flash safety standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and production teams to propose enhancements and minimize downtime.
