About the job
Join TechnicAtome at our Le Barp site as an Industrial Risk Study Engineer, contributing to the Laser MegaJoule (LMJ) project.
The Laser MegaJoule (LMJ) is a crucial component of our simulation program, designed to maintain the credibility of deterrence in the post-nuclear testing era.
As part of the 'Health, Safety, Environment, Waste, and Effluents' unit, which oversees these matters across all nuclear civil and defense projects at TechnicAtome, you will support engineering and operational activities for the Laser MegaJoule.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk analyses related to personnel safety for various subsystems of the installation (electromechanical, mechanical, electrical, safety control systems) using dysfunctional analysis tools such as APR, fault trees, or FMEA.
- Perform safety studies on topics concerning the entire installation (regulatory analyses, fire studies, ATEX risks, laser safety) and ensure compliance with prescribed safety requirements in industrial contracts and design studies conducted by TechnicAtome.
- Draft safety documentation for presentation to relevant authorities.
- Maintain a strong and coherent interface with operators, including developing and updating a safety reference essential for preparing activities.
You will collaborate closely with the Mission Manager and all project stakeholders, with your responsibilities evolving through the diverse projects at TechnicAtome, including nuclear propulsion and civil nuclear projects.
