About the job
As an Industrial Sales Representative reporting directly to the Commercial Sales Manager, you will spearhead growth initiatives and cultivate robust relationships with our customers. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Negotiating the purchase of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal commodities, focusing on pricing, contracts, and shipment terms to optimize profitability.
- Identifying and engaging new customers across various sectors, including industrial accounts, retail, dealers, and demolition projects, to expand business opportunities.
- Working closely with both internal and external teams to ensure seamless operations, timely deliveries, and outstanding customer service.
- Building and sustaining strong supplier relationships while managing lead times, inventory updates, and maintaining accurate records for planning and compliance.
- Driving business development by identifying innovative solutions that enhance scrap recovery and consistently achieve or surpass sourcing quotas.
