About the Role
The Inside Sales Manager, reporting to the Inside Sales Director, is pivotal in leading an inside sales team, overseeing sales operations, and developing strategic initiatives for both new and existing clients at Veeam Software.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a motivated team of 6-8 Inside Sales Representatives and/or Team Leads, fostering a culture of overachievement through coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Encourage a collaborative and positive team environment, reflecting Veeam's Core Values.
- Manage team performance against quotas and sales forecasts, executing operational strategies to meet sales objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by consistently achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor daily activities of sales representatives, ensuring effective engagement with Veeam's CRM (Salesforce.com).
- Utilize metrics to evaluate the performance of inside sales activities, addressing deficiencies as needed.
- Collaborate with sales management on territory allocation and execution strategies.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in managing or supervising inside sales teams; a strong background in telephone and internet-based sales is essential, particularly within the SMB sector (<500 employees).
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; however, a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Proven track record in building, training, managing, and achieving results from an inside sales team.
- Adept at motivating teams with demonstrated abilities to drive performance and achieve goals.
