Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Technology Research: Conduct foundational research in emerging vehicle dynamics technologies, including X-by-wire systems, active suspension, and rear-wheel steering.
- System Design & Modeling: Create high-fidelity physical models and simulation environments for chassis components.
- Component Innovation & Validation: Contribute innovative ideas to enhance key component performance and optimize designs.
- International Cooperation: Collaborate closely with our corporate research hub in Renningen, Germany, on project initiatives and skill development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead research and pre-development of intelligent chassis components, emphasizing system integration and component optimization.
- Utilize tools like MATLAB/Simulink, CarMaker, or dSPACE for simulating component behavior and enhancing system performance across various driving conditions.
- Engage in multi-physics field simulations (mechanical, thermal, CFD, etc.) for key chassis components using commercial software platforms such as ANSYS and Comsol.
- Define testing protocols for component durability and functionality, analyzing data to correlate results with simulation models and optimize designs.
- Champion technological excellence by contributing innovative ideas for new product concepts, including patent applications.
- Support project activities to ensure successful transitions of deliverables to business units.
