About the Role
As the Program Manager, you will take the lead in establishing and guiding a comprehensive program across a healthcare organization, focusing on efficiency and financial control. You will design the program structure, oversee coherence, monitor progress, quality, and budget, and provide clear guidance to both the board and management.
Your role involves evaluating business cases and cost-benefit analyses for substantiation, feasibility, and risks while advising on priorities and decision-making. Your analyses of costs, production, capacity, and processes will help you formulate improvement and savings measures, as well as develop strategic scenarios.
You will actively manage the implementation of these improvements, ensuring that results are measurable and embedded in processes, KPIs, and reports. Additionally, you will play a central role in change management, building support among healthcare professionals and management while facilitating decision-making at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
As the Program Manager for Efficiency and Financial Control, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and realizing a comprehensive program that enables our client to strategically manage efficiency, cost control, and sustainable financial performance.
You will design and manage the program, setting clear objectives, phases, and milestones while ensuring coherence, progress, quality, and budget adherence. Collaborating closely with Planning & Control, you will provide reliable information to the Board of Directors and management.
Your tasks will include assessing business cases and cost-benefit analyses prepared within the organization, validating their feasibility, risks, and alignment with program goals, and making necessary adjustments. At the program level, you will conduct risk analyses, manage dependencies, and prepare decision-making for the steering committee thoroughly.
By analyzing cost structures, production, capacity utilization, and healthcare logistics, you will develop concrete efficiency measures and strategic scenarios. Your advice to the Board of Directors, CFO, and management teams will focus on prioritization, choices, and necessary adjustments.
You will oversee the implementation of improvement and cost-saving measures within healthcare and support services, managing improvement projects, tracking progress, and ensuring results are demonstrably integrated into processes, KPIs, and dashboards.
Additionally, you will guide change management within a complex hospital environment, fostering support among medical staff, healthcare management, and support services while bridging interests at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels. As a strong interlocutor, you will facilitate effective decision-making and contribute to sustainable change.
