About the Role
We are on the lookout for an Internal Communications Specialist to join Crunchyroll’s Global Communications team. Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, you will help bring our internal voice to life, enhancing our culture, deepening employee engagement, and connecting staff across the globe to our brand, business, and community.
In this role, you will support content creation, events, and programming across a diverse, multi-channel ecosystem including intranet, email, Slack, digital signage, and more. You will also manage the processes and platforms that ensure our internal communications function seamlessly. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative position that combines storytelling, execution, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and proofread internal communications across various channels, including intranet, email, Slack, and digital platforms.
- Contribute to narrative-driven content that highlights Crunchyroll’s brand, community, and impact on the anime industry across channels.
- Collaborate on executive communications, including drafting emails, talking points, and messaging for key leadership moments.
- Assist in developing and executing internal events, campaigns, and activations that foster employee engagement and connection to key company initiatives.
- Build and maintain editorial calendars to support a consistent messaging cadence.
- Manage intake processes and coordinate communication requests across teams.
- Track performance metrics, engagement, and KPIs.
- Maintain internal communications platforms and partner with IT and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and workflows while staying updated on communications and technology trends.
- Support scheduling, budgeting, and team operations.
This role follows a hybrid schedule, with three days per week onsite at our Los Angeles office.
