ROLE OVERVIEW
Joining Alo Yoga as an International Merchandise Planner means taking on a pivotal role within our team. Your contributions will go beyond just managing inventory and sales; you will play a crucial part in fulfilling Alo's mission of enhancing the in-store experience and ensuring our products reach our customers seamlessly. As an International Planner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Planning, Buying, and Merchandising teams to design and implement financial plans and merchandise strategies that align with Alo's marketing and financial goals for International Retail Stores and Ecommerce across various global markets. This includes developing both top-down and bottom-up category plans.
- Providing analytical insights to stimulate growth within owned categories and various operating channels across the APAC and European regions.
- Overseeing the monthly financial review for Open-to-Buy (OTB) categories to pinpoint risks and opportunities within your areas of responsibility.
- Recapping and analyzing actual sales results against plan; forecasting in-season sales and inventory on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Supporting merchandise planning by managing product flow within the supply chain, ensuring stock levels support key initiatives and product launches.
- Formulating pre-season sales, gross margin, and inventory plans by department that align with overall company objectives, managing financial success through achieving sales, gross margin, and inventory turnover targets.
- Creating and managing sales and inventory plans for core styles to meet departmental financial objectives.
- Maximizing opportunities through continuous business analysis and responsiveness to market trends.
- Communicating performance metrics related to category and size selling.
- Leading enhancements and changes to existing processes and procedures.
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
