Opportunity Overview:
The Intervention Specialist is responsible for supporting the educational and behavioral objectives for all students, especially those with an Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Key Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to interpret the abilities and needs of students, assisting in the development of intervention strategies, modifying general education curricula as needed, and supporting students with their regular class assignments.
- Conducting diagnostic assessments to inform instruction.
- Administering functional behavior assessments.
- Providing direct support to students in their educational pursuits.
